Get Rid of Split Ends

Split ends in the hair is perhaps the most common hair problem that woman face throughout the world.  The problem also known as Trichoptlosis occurs when your hair’s cuticle wears down. The problem of split ends is more common whenever the hair is either brittle or dry. It is for this reason that it is always recommended that you do not brush wet hair, as it would be more vulnerable to splitting during these times. Similarly certain other chemical treatments such as coloring or perming may sometimes lead to split ends.

Although there is no single solution for treating split ends, there are many simple hair care techniques which can help you avoid the problem though. A good shampoo made especially for split hairs along with an anti-breakage conditioner for instance is a must if you are suffering from the problem. You can also apply pomade or a leave-in conditioner to the ends of your hair on a daily basis in order to keep them strong. You should also avoid using vent brushes which come with plastic bristles since they can cause damage by ripping through strands of hair.  Similarly whenever you are detangling your strands, you should do it with a wide tooth comb.  This can help you avoid split ends. Wearing a hat during winters will help you in avoiding split ends, since biting winds can sometimes cause the problem.  Getting hair trimmed regularly is one of the best ways to get rid of split ends. A little bit of proper hair care and maintenance is all that you need to avoid split ends.

Layered hairstyles would especially look great on women who have pear shaped or round face. Layered hairstyles can make the face look longer than it actually is in these cases. Layered hair is also known to add a significant amount of volume to almost any type of hair. With all these advantages it is no wonder that more and more women are preferring layered hairstyles.

Those having color treated or frizzy hair can also try out layered hairstyles. They can do so by cutting of the dead ends, which allows for the more healthy hair to shine through. Using a little bit of imagination you can try out a variety of layered hairstyles. For instance, you can try out bangs along with a layered look. Long bangs for example swept to the side would look great. Similarly you can also experiment by adding highlights to your hair.  Layered hairstyles would work best for those women who have either straight or slightly wavy hair. Another thing that you need to remember is that layers can be quite hard to grow, once you cut them off. You should always make sure that you want to give them a long run before you decide on a layered hairstyle.
