Home versus Salon Hair Color, Choosing color shade
How do you color your hair at home or at salon? Today, I prefer to go to the hairdresser for highlights and lowlights. My experience of hair colour has shaped my personal philosopliy: the easier a technique is and the less harsh the formula, he more likely I'll try it at home. The more complicated a technique is and the harsher the formula, the more likely I'll go to my stylist.
Choosing a Hair Color Shade

Choose a shade in the neutral family. For example, if you have auburn hair and crave something lighter, go for a dark strawberry blonde. Ashy is another way to say
cool. If your hair has cool,
almost greyish tones,
consider it ashy.
Coarse hair generally takes
more time to absorb hair
colour, while fine hair
absorbs it more quickly.
